We would like to make sure everyone is clear about one thing right up front . . .
Not Voting = A Vote For The Union
The unions have been misinforming employees by telling them they do not need to vote unless they are voting for the union. This is an absolute lie and is the exact opposite of the truth. The truth is, the unions depend on apathetic employees to do nothing.
The unions only need 50% + 1 of the votes cast to win. This means if only 10 people make the effort to vote and 6 vote yes, every single eligible employee will be subject to the union contract and forced to pay dues whether you agree or not!!
If you decide not to pay dues or abide by the unions rules you can be fined and/or terminated regardless of your standings with Western Medical Center or your supervisors.
