Registered nurses at Doctor’s Medical Center of Modesto have voted by 60 percent to join the California Nurses Association. Nurses voted 400 to 263 to affiliate with CNA. Some 825 RNs will be represented by CNA at the Central Valley hospital, the largest Tenet Healthcare hospital in California.
Flagstaff Arizona Medical Center Nurses were once again unswayed by union rhetoric. This time rejecting advances by the California Nurses Association by a vote of 242 to 211. The CNA of course vowed to file objections to the decision disrespecting the views of the professional nurses of Flagstaff Medical Center.
