Chino Valley Medical Center Nurses submit petition to decertify UNAC

Stopunions.com has learned that UNAC is no longer recognized as the bargaining agent for the Nurses at Chino Valley Medical Center. A petition signed by a majority of the nursing staff was presented to their employer and has been accepted. Staff nurses answering calls placed to the hospital have said that UNAC is out and they are union free. UNAC has failed to successfully obtain a contract for the nurses after three years of negotiations and the staff was sick and tired of union double talk and misinformation. Some of the staff stated that the union was ready to accept a very very bad contract just to be able to declare a “victory”.
Stopunions.com has also learned that United Nurses Association of California disrespects the voices of the nurses and filed unfair labor practice charges against the medical center in an effort to undermine the nursing staffs victory.

Finally the lip service is over. what a waste of time and effort, UNAC was all mouth and no muscle and we believed them at first. All talk and no action.

Finally we can get on with our lives. I thought UNAC was a good idea but it turned out they were all talk. Empty words and lies about lies. They even said on the UNAC website that they have a contract when their isn’t one. How can they lie like that?
